Bunbury TAFE Forum - South West Institute of Technology

We're coming to Bunbury! This TAFE Works forum will be held at the Bunbury campus of Edith Cowan University, which is near the South West Institute of TAFE. The Bunbury TAFE Forum is for college staff, students, community, business, leaders and anyone connected or interested in supporting a strong public TAFE system in Western Australia.

TAFE works, but in the last two years the State Government has dramatically increased fees for students and cut funding and staff at colleges across WA. How is this affecting you, your TAFE college, your business or your community? We want to hear from you.

As well as hearing your issues and concerns, at this forum you will:

  • Be addressed by special guest speakers on how TAFE has changed their life;
  • Receive a presentation from an SSTUWA senior officer on how the TAFE Works campaign is lobbying for increased funding and lower student fees;
  • Receive a 'TAFE Works Action Pack' to provide you tools to support our campaign;
  • Receive a TAFE Works T-shirt, Hat and other merchandise;
  • Light refreshments, tea and coffee provided.

This event is free. Please RSVP by filling out the quick, 1 minute form at the bottom of this page. All personal details will only be used to contact you regarding this event only.

This is an important event for the TAFE community, with invitations forwarded to local media, community leaders, TAFE officials, Members of Parliament and other VIP's. But the most important people we want in attendance are the staff, students, parents and community members connected to TAFE colleges.

We hope to see you there.
